Blue Mountains elopements at Redgate are small by design: the two of you, your celebrant, a witness or two and perhaps a photographer, on a 200-acre farm in Hartley NSW below the western escarpment of the Blue Mountains. Say your vows on the farm, then go back to a stay that's yours alone — no reception to run and no guests to look after.
You don't need to book the whole property to elope here. For elopements and very small weddings, the booking can be scaled down to a single stay or just the Homestead. Tell us your date and the size of your party, and we'll confirm what's possible for the ceremony.

Where To Stay After Your Blue Mountains Elopement
Karinya Container Home puts the view first. Its private jacuzzi faces the escarpment, and inside there's a fireplace, a full kitchen and a Breville coffee machine, with a firepit and a big covered deck outside. One of its two queen bedrooms has a private ensuite.
Redbird Tiny Home is the smaller, simpler choice: a queen bed, a fully fitted kitchen and its own ensuite, set by the dam and private from the Homestead and the Container Home. Book Bluebird as well and the dam paddock is yours alone, which gives a witness or your photographer a bed of their own.
If a few family members are coming, the Homestead has six bedrooms, a wrap-around verandah with country views, a six-person spa and a fire in the lounge.

Before And After The Ceremony
An elopement doesn't have to be one afternoon. Arrive a day early, walk the paddock trails, say hello to the horses, take a kayak out on the dam, and finish with the jacuzzi or the firepit under a properly dark sky. Hartley itself is worth an hour: the old village, with its 1837 courthouse designed by Mortimer Lewis, is preserved as a historic site run by NSW National Parks.

Can a few guests come for the ceremony only?+
Usually, by arrangement. Let us know how many day guests you're expecting when you enquire, so we can sort out parking and access.
